Privacy requests, data, and how to get account help

How to reach OerSocial for data access or deletion, what we need in the email, and how account recovery actually works.

By OerSocial Editorial · August 24, 2026

OerSocial is a real service with real inboxes. This page is the support article we want sitting next to the product, not a three-line Contact page with no instructions.

Email addresses that mean something

  • support@oersocial.com — account access, reports, copyright, general help
  • privacy@oersocial.com — access, correction, or deletion of personal data
  • ads@oersocial.com — advertising policy and ad quality

Use one address. Sending the same message to all three does not make it faster.

Privacy requests

If you want a copy of your data or you want it deleted, email privacy@oersocial.com from the email on the account. Say whether you want access or deletion. We may need to confirm you control the account. We will not ask for your password.

Deletion is not instantaneous in every backup, but we do not keep an account live as a public profile after we accept a deletion request.

California and other regions have additional rights described in the Privacy Policy. The email is how you exercise them. There is no in-app "do not sell" toggle that secretly turns ads into a different product. Cookie choices are in the banner and in the Cookie Policy.

Account lockouts

If you cannot sign in, use the email you registered. If you no longer have that inbox, write to support@oersocial.com and explain. We cannot guess a new password for a name you typed in a contact form.

What to include in a report email

  • The URL of the post or profile
  • What rule you think was broken
  • Whether you are the target or a bystander
  • Screenshots only if they do not spread illegal material

What we will not do by email

We will not "boost" a post. We will not verify you because you asked nicely. We will not settle a dispute by picking a winner in a follower argument. We will not give a stranger access to someone else's DMs.

Why this article is public

Support pages are part of a functioning site. A social network that only exists behind a login looks empty to everyone else. Publishing how to reach us is part of not being a thin brochure with a feed attached.

If you need help, write. If you do not, read the Guides and post something you made.
