A week on OerSocial: a publishing rhythm that stays readable
A concrete weekly cadence for posting, replying, and using Explore without flooding the site or burning out.
By OerSocial Editorial · August 22, 2026
Most accounts that look "dead" are not dead. They posted twelve times in two days and then vanished. OerSocial reads better when people show up on a schedule they can keep. This is one schedule. It is not a contract.
Monday: one complete post
Write a post you would still like on Friday. Text plus media if the media is yours. No "coming soon." No poll that is actually an ad. If you have nothing finished, skip the day. Skipping is better than padding.
Tuesday: replies only
Do not post a new thread. Answer two or three posts you actually read. Specific replies beat "this." If you cannot be specific, you did not read it.
Wednesday: Explore for twenty minutes
Search one topic. Follow at most three accounts. Report anything that is clearly spam. Leave. Explore is not a job.
Thursday: one post, different format
If Monday was a photo, Thursday can be text, or audio, or a short video. Variety helps people understand what you do. Repeating the same caption with a new hashtag does not.
Friday: maintenance
Check notifications. Delete a post you posted by mistake. Update a bio line if it is stale. Do not "rebrand" every Friday.
Weekend: optional story, not a dump
A story is fine. A twelve-post dump on Sunday night is how you train people to mute you.
What this cadence is for
It keeps your profile from looking like a burst of automated content. It also keeps Home from filling with the same voice on a loop. Reviewers and new visitors who open a profile should see a trail of finished posts, not a keyword experiment.
If three posts a week is too much, post once a week. The rule is completeness, not volume. OerSocial is not a contest for who can generate the most empty URLs.
