About OerSocial

OerSocial is an independent creator community. People publish original posts, follow each other, and read longer articles written by the OerSocial team. The company operates the website at oersocial.com. We are not a child-directed product. We are not a scraped magazine.

What we publish

User posts belong to the people who write them. Editorial guides belong to OerSocial. The guides explain the product, the rules, advertising, age limits, and how to get help. They are the public library a visitor can read without creating an account. That library is how we keep the site from looking like an empty login wall.

Who it is for

Creators and audiences who want a straightforward place to post text, images, video, or audio, and to talk in public. You must be at least 13 to register. We do not build features for young children, and we delete accounts we learn belong to children under 13.

How the community is kept usable

Hate, sexual content, illegal activity, scraped dumps, and fake engagement are banned. Report is on every post menu. Email support@oersocial.com. Staff can remove posts and restrict accounts. Details live in Community Guidelines and in the reporting guide.

Advertising

We may show labeled Google AdSense ads on editorial pages. We do not put ads on login, messages, settings, or admin, and we do not put ads in the main unmoderated feed. Cookie choices are in the banner. Advertising questions: ads@oersocial.com.
